The privately owned hut is nestled in a valley of its own in 2 acres of grounds, in an area of natural beauty. The unspoiled landscape and open space for activity gives students a feeling of freedom. The facilities though spartan, provide sufficient comfort. It provides “Matratzenlager“ (mattresses and camp beds) type sleeping for up 20 students. Plentiful good healthy food is provided at the hut with occasional Pizzeria visits. The house was recently renovated with new bathrooms! However there is no electricity in the Matratzenlager, so don’t worry the atmosphere will be as exciting as ever with camp fires and candlelight. Spaces are limited so get your registration in quickly. First come, first served!

The camp is based in a mountain hut 3kms away from the village of Lenzumo in Val di Concei. The almost vertical east flank of Mount Cadria, 2400 meters rises directly behind the hut, which is a 5 minute drive from Lake Ledro, where we do all our water sports. Lake Ledro is about 20 minutes drive from Riva on Lake Garda.

This residential ‘Outward Bound’ style camp is a wonderful experience, full of fun, adventure and back to nature activity, building life time friendships in an idyllic environment.

We invite both boys and girls who enjoy being actively involved in mountain and water sports. This camp is for students from Middle to Senior school. Ages 11 – 18.

Our Camp philosophy is to create an educational experience in a fun holiday environment. We provide opportunities to build fine motor skills, artistic ability and cultivate a healthy life style while having a lot of fun. Our counsellors focus on helping students build self confidence and a capacity for creativity and adventure. The counsellor to student ratio of 1-6 ensures a high level of care. Camp activities will be taught by qualified activity specialists, assisted by camp counsellors.

Friday will be a camp outing day. Week 1 includes a visit to Alpenwarmbad Benediktbeuern Water Park and a visit to Oberammergau. On Thursday night each week there is an optional overnight in tents on the MIS campus.

In this specialised camp boys and girls grades 6 - 10 focus on a single sport in the morning and another in the afternoon for a whole week with the aim of developing skills and improving their athletic ability in the chosen sport. After the first week students can continue developing athletic skills in the mountains at our Italy Camp, which we are excited to re-introduce this year.

Qualified coaches and/or specialist counselors will be selected to run the individual sports based on the number participating.
